Frank Rivera, az amerikai CONCEPTS shop feje egy limitált New Balance 999-es cipőt tervezett az elmúlt hónapokban. A cipőt John F. Kennedy emlékének szentelte, az inspirációt pedig a II. Világhárborúban hadnagyként a PF-Boat hajón eltöltött emlékei adták. 2011. márciusában várható a piacra dobása a cipőnek.To reflect such legacy, Frank Rivera (or better known as Frank The Butcher) of CONCEPTS set to work on a pair of New Balance 999s in honor of John F. Kennedy. Inspired by his love of the sea and his time as a lieutenant of PT-Boat during World War II, the CNCPTS x New Balance 999 is steep in nautical traditions, with its rip-stop nylon, the battleship grey paneling to accents in red, white, and blue. Will be available in March 2011.
